Marta Kozera (b. 1985) in 2009 completed clinical psychology studies at the SWPS University, specialising in group psychology and addiction psychotherapy. In 2011, she began studies at the Faculty of Stage Design of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts which she completed in 2016 with a diploma for designing the staging, set and costumes for the play based on Henrik Ibsen’s The Lady from the Sea. In the same year, her graduation work was featured in the “Coming Out” exhibition, among the best diplomas of students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and she received the Jerzy Moskal stage design award for the theatre MA diploma at the New Stage Design Festival in Katowice. From 2016, she has been working as an assistant in her alma mater, the Faculty of Stage Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She regularly designs sets and costumes for theatre and film productions. Marta is inspired by relationships of an individual’s internal world (with its sensitivity and longings) with space and the natural world. Her means of observing and capturing moods of humans and nature is analogue photography.
