Olsza Grochowska (b. 1985) is a photographer, graduate of the European Academy of Photography. In 2012 Olsza completed, with honours, post-graduate MA studies in Fashion Photography at the London College of Fashion. In the same year she won photography competitions organised by L’Oreal Professionnel and fashion brand Damart. In 2014, she became the finalist of the Royal Photographic Society competition. In addition to that she has master degree of Warsaw University in law studies. She speaks English, Spanish and French. Polish is her mother language. Since her university days, she has been photographing on film sets and in theatres, as well as for advertising photoshoots. Every chance she gets, Olsza returns to the source of her fascination and takes nature photographs with her medium analog camera. In 2018, she started working on her first installation entitled Foehn. The project is devoted to the impact of the foehn wind on the environment and people residing in areas where it occurs. Olsza portrays nature. She has exceptional sensitivity which makes these pictures magical.
